Every brand in the automobile industry races to achieve something in the industry, one such race is to determine who has the fastest car in the world. The are many categories defining the fastest cars, but one main category which helps the automobile manufacturers to announce the world that they are on top is the Production Car category.

It is hard to produce a car that can do 200mph run and to be road legal, but some cars do have managed to do that. 

One such list is made, this is not a usual Top 10 list, this list is consolidated with the unique features of the cars and their unknown facts, this list is being consolidated with special care to fix the right models not just based on the record, this list entirely based on the facts and the overall performance of the cars all over the years.

Hindustan Ambassador - All you need to know about the Hindustan Ambassador in the Motor History

Hindustan Motors Ambassador - The King of Indian Roads

During the 1950s Hindustan Motors which was started by B M Birla in 1942 started producing a model of car which none of the officials of the company neither the people knew that it would become one of India's most favorite car ever. And so it happened, the car became one of the best Indian cars ever made and gained the name "The King Of Indian Roads". And also made a number of achievements that no one ever thought of in India. Born from British blood and became the car of the nation that is the one and only Ambassador produced by Hindustan Motors.

It is obvious that Hindustan Motors made a great impact in the Indian Automobile Industry especially with two of their models, The Ambassador and The Contessa. Ambassador was Hindustan Motors's first-ever successful model, which was created in 1957, Ambassador went through six main generations, Mark I, Mark II, Mark III, and Mark IV were the versions of Ambassador under the Mark category. Along with models named by their own, Ambassador Grand, Ambassador Avigo, Ambassador Encore, and Ambassador Classic where some of them. Ambassador also had two rare versions of the model which didn't perform well in the sales leading the company to terminate those two models, those two models are the Ambassador Estate and the Ambassador Veer, Veerlx.

Even though Ambassador made a tremendous impact in the Indian Automobile Industry, as like every product, Ambassador had its exit time, after the changes in automobile regulations and with the implementation of BSIV regulations, sales of Ambassador went bad along with the competition from Maruti with their Maruti 800 the compact family model things went really bad for Ambassador. The production of Ambassador was stopped in 2014. In 2017 France based PSA Group, led by Peugeot brought the Ambassador brand for $12 million. They have stated about a possible comeback of the Ambassador in the near future. In that case, it'd be great to see one of the favorite cars of Indian being reborn again.

Hindustan Contessa - The Muscle car of India | All you need to know about the Indian Muscle car

Hindustan Contessa - Indian Muscle car

What comes to your mind when you think about a muscle car? It'll be fast, more powerful, track-focused and most important thing is, it'll be an American made car. Well, there's a car from India which certainly does not fall under this Muscle car Category, yet it made a new category called "Indian Muscle Car". And soon it started ruling the Indian roads, which was also known as the "Indian Limousine". It is none other than the only Contessa made by Hindustan Motors.

In 1984 Hindustan Motors introduced a car called Contessa, which eventually made its way to start a new category in India by the name of Muscle car( not the actual Muscle car category created in the United States of America including some of their Muscle cars like Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger, Chevrolet Camaro). Contessa was created in collaboration with Vauxhall Motors and made a collaboration with Isuzu for their petrol engines. Contessa was India's first Luxury Saloon and was nicknamed as Indian Muscle car by its fans. The production of Contessa was stopped in 2002. With great reach among the car enthusiasts, Contessa still has its own legacy in Indian Automotive History. Till Contessa, Ambassador was the flagship model for Hindustan Motors which made achievements and took a great leap in the Indian Automobile Industry. Contessa continued the legacy of the Ambassador as it should have done.

Concept cars are more important in every automobile company, concept cars define the company's history and its futuristic models and their projection towards the future helping them build more reliable and cars which are near to be called masterpieces of all time. Lamborghini has produced great cars and shown many masterpieces which predicts how the future cars will be as like making the mid-engine supercar DNA alive by reveling Miura. Lamborghini Marzal

Estoque was not the first four-seater model introduced by Lamborghini. In 1967 Geneva Motor Show Lamborghini introduced its two-door four-seater model. Marzal was based on a prototype of a straight-six cylinder engine producing 175 horsepower. The chassis was based on Miura. The doors are of Gullwing type and are entirely made on glass only with the metal on the frame. Marzal never made it to the production.

Lamborghini Cheetah

Cheetah was developed by the collaboration with Lamborghini at Mobility Technology International (MTI) in California. The partnership was made in the middle of the 1970s and both firms worked equal and because of some partnership issues the partnership with Lamborghini was canceled and later Lamborghini developed LM002 based on the Cheetah and its SUV origin tends to continue till now in the form of Urus. With no doubt, LM002 served as a great SUV which was lighter and faster than Hummer which was also produced around the same time in America.

Lamborghini Zagato Raptor

Zagato Raptor was built from four-wheel-drive Diablo. The Zagato Raptor was built by Zagato in collaboration with Lamborghini in 1996. The car comprises of a Diablo's V12 engine producing a maximum power of 500 horsepower and was having no doors in the side. Instead of the traditional way of opening the door, they designed a new way to enter the car by lifting the entire top of the body making it uncomfortable for the drive to enter the car. Like Pregunta, Zagato Raptor also remained a concept and never made to the production.

Lamborghini Pregunta

Concept cars are pretty unexpected in motor shows past, as based on that Lamborghini reviled its one-off a car on 1998 Paris Motor Show and it is none other than the Pregunta. Pregunta was heavily inspired by the Dassault Rafale jet fighter. Like the jet fighter the Pregunta shares two roofs (or so-called two half-roofs) and the jet-inspired cockpit. Under the hood, the Pregunta comes with a V12 capable of pumping 530horses, and the body is built from the Diablo's platform along with the fighter jet-inspired cockpit and similar paint of the Dassault Rafale jet fighter. Unlike the Diablo's all-wheel-drive Pregunta was developed as a rear-wheel-drive car. With all the hype Lamborghini maintained it as one of its concept cars and it never made its way to production.

Lamborghini Estoque

On the 2008 Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini unveiled the competitor for Porsche Panamera with a four-door, four-seater luxury line model Estoque. The model has Gallardo's 5.2liter V10 engine as the heart and pumps 560 horsepower with the engine mounted on the front based on an all-wheel-drive system. Estoque remained a concept car even it was seemed to become a production model.

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento

Sesto Elemento is a fighter jet-inspired model with extensive use of carbon fiber. The name "Sesto Elemento" means the sixth element in the periodic table that is Carbon, it was revealed by Lamborghini on the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The road-legal carbon beast is powered by Gallardo's  V10 engine and all-wheel-drive system producing 562 horsepower doing 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds. 20 of the models were made and were priced at $2.2million.

Lamborghini Veneno

Veneno was entirely based on Aventador and was revealed on the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, which shares the same 6.5liter V12 engine pumping 739 horsepower which can reach the top speed of 220mph. Veneno shares the same all-wheel-drive system with a Le Mans inspired roof scoop for better aerodynamics and better downforce. Veneno is designed with the main upgrade in exterior design with minimum changes in the power and performance of the Aventador and costs $4,500,000. It can do 0-60 mph in 2.8 sec.

Lamborghini Centenario

Centenario was launched on the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The car is built based on the Aventador's body and has a massive 6.5-liter v12 engine producing a whopping 759 horses which can hit the 60mph target at 2.8 seconds. Only 40 of the models were made, in which 20 are the roadsters. The model looks gorgeous in blue and black combo available in the 20 masterpieces.

Lamborghini Egoista

What if you desperately want to drive a lethal machine all alone and feel the beast roaring through your veins, does Lamborghini has a solution for that? 

Certainly, Lamborghini said yes to this typical question by unveiling the Lamborghini Egoista on the last day of the Grande Giro tour of 2013. Lamborghini built the Egoista to mark the 50 years of its excellence from 1963. Egoista is designed to look like a mixture of a fighter jet and Lamborghini DNA. It was basically designed by the head of the Volkswagen design group Walter De Silva. Speaking about performance the beast shares the 5.2-liter V10 engine of Gallardo capable of producing up to 600 horsepower(estimated). And the interior is designed heavily based on the fighter jet's cockpit, while the driver can open the top. With all these features Egoista is one hell of a driving machine.

Lamborghini Terzo Millennio

When every car maker started their take in electric vehicles, Lamborghini also took part in and created a remarking Electric Hypercar which is so-called the "Terzo Millennio". Instead of producing a fuel-drinking junkie, Lamborghini decided to produce a hot electric car that has a Health Monitoring system to monitor the car's performance and reducing the risks of accidents to the level Zero. And the car runs by a four-wheel-drive system. It is good that car manufacturers start producing cars of all types, which makes enthusiasts and fans buy the type of vehicle from their favorite brand.

All the above models were officially revealed by Lamborghini in certain time periods, while the following is not officially revealed by Lamborghini itself but still it is created based on Lamborghini, let's take a look at the weirdo !!

Lamborghini Sogna

Lamborghini Sogna is one of the weird-looking cars of all manufacturers and designers. Sogna was not an official model of Lamborghini while it was designed by Japanese designer Ryoji Yamazaki in 1991 at Geneva Motor Show. Sogna is a modified Lamborghini Countach with 5.2liter V12  producing 455 horsepower with a rear-wheel-drive system. Sogna was never made it to production either by the designer or got into Lamborghini officially, it just remained a tuned concept car and a working prototype was built and shown in the 1994 Essen Motor Show.

Ford vs Ferrari

Racing Story:

First of all, I sincerely thank Mr. Enzo Ferrari for making every man his own rivalry and let the fans to feel the new brand in the automobile industry and in the racing industry. Ford vs Ferrari is one of the most iconic rivalries in motorsport history, which lead to the manufacturing of legendary Ford GT 40. There's a trend by car manufacturers to sell their cars by racing their new models in motorsports by proving the capabilities of the car. One such stage is The 24 Hours of Le Mans. That's where the actual story began. 

It was the time of WW2 where Ford was manufacturing bombers for the US Army. When the war ended "The Automotive Manufacturers of America(AMA)" implemented a law stating all the manufacturers in association not to participate in any form of motorsport. But Chevrolet was building a car for racing without the knowledge of the association. Soon this information broke out and it was in the paper, which made Henry Ford II(the president of Ford Motor company 1945-1960) a little serious and as a result, he decided to build a car to win the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans. 

                                         
Henry Ford II started collecting information to build a car to win The 24 Hours of Le Mans. In the run for ideas, in Sebring, Henry Ford II saw a couple of Ferraris racing the tournament and decide to buy those red cars. Henry Ford II approached to buy Ferrari. After 22 days of intense negotiations, Enzo Ferrari decided to sell the Ferrari to Ford Motor Company. 

                                     
At the time of signing the agreement, Enzo Ferrari noticed that as part of this deal the Ferrari racing division will go under the control of Ford Motors. Which Enzo Ferrari didn't like and decide to turn down the deal. Enzo Ferrari was all about racing and he didn't want to work under others in his own racing division. As a result, Henry Ford II was not happy again and decided to build his own racing car and take over Ferrari's legacy in The 24 Hours of Le Mans.

                                   
Henry Ford II organized a team to build a car to win The 24 Hours of Le Mans. As by Henry's order, the team started working on a prototype and which eventually came out as Ford GT40, which was the shortest car to participate in The 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1964. The initial model was fast, but it was not reliable it couldn't withstand a run for 24 hours. As 24 hours of Le Mans is all about endurance and performance. In the year of 1964, Ford competed in The 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Ford GT40s. None of the cars made it till the end of the race. Ford left with nothing except failure in 1964.

Henry Ford II then hired Caroll Shelby, who was a Le Mans GT class winner. He designed the GT40 to meet it's performance level to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. So did the car managed to finish the race in 1965, 24 Hours of Le Mans, but failed to win the race. The car had a beautiful victory in The 24 Hours of Daytona race and The 12 Hours of Sebring. Though the car didn't win in the legendary race. This time also Ford left the France soil looking forward to winning the race in the next year.

It was in 1966, 24 Hours of Le Mans the history was made. Ford brought the upgraded GT40 with tremendous 3 position victory in Daytona and Sebring victory. This time Ferrari was even more eager to look what the west has brought to rage in the circuit. During the first half of the race, Ford faced a serious situation because 4 out of 8 Ford GT40s didn't perform well and broke down. Having only four Gt40s left. Ford managed to take the 1-2-3 position victory, Ken Miles leading the first position and Dan Gurney in the third position by pushing his car to the finish line. While Ferrari with no cars to complete the entire race. 

                                  

That was a great victory for Ford which held the title for Four Straight years. This made the Ford vs Ferrari rivalry one of the best in the motorsport event. 50 years after in 2016, Ford had a fruitful victory in the GTE class with it's Ford GT. In 1969 Ford GT40 made the history by the first American to win The 24 Hours of Le Mans. 

Rolls Royce Cullinan : Everything you need to know

Rolls Royce Cullinan 

"Off-roading cannot be done with luxury" was an old myth and it was broke by Land Rover and Bentley with their SUV models Range Rover and Bentayga, now Rolls Royce joins the SUV club with an Ultra Luxury SUV model named the "Cullinan". 3 years ago, Rolls Royce CEO Torsten Muller-Otvos gave an introduction about the new luxury SUV. As said the company started developing the model and took long time for testing the car's stability and capabilities. On 10th May 2018 the company launched the Cullinan. The car looks stunning and it does add cool features of the company's tradition with the new Off-roading capability.

Cullinan is the first SUV from the Rolls Royce brand. Typically Cullinan breaks the company's tradition of manufacturing luxury sedans or saloons, but visually Cullinan resembles the company's traditional look. The Cullinan resembles it's base sedan model phantom in it's front but the rear slips a little in traditional appearance. Cullinan gets a panoramic with active cruise control. Cullinan gets one of the best traditional feature of Rolls Royce, that is the suicide doors. It's true the SUV comes with suicide doors. Cullinan means the largest diamond ever found, that stays true with the Rolls Royce Cullinan, as the car weighs 2660 kg.

Engine and Off-road features

As an SUV Cullinan gets a massive 6.75 litre V12 engine which produces 563 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. Cullinan gets an all wheel drive and with 4-wheel steering.

Cullinan gets single off-road mode, which can be enabled by pressing the "off-road" button on the central console. The off-road or "Everywhere" mode includes six customizations including rough track, gravel, wet grass, snow,sand or mud.The torque gets delivered at 1600 rpm for every wheel to maintain the stability of the car at lower rate. Cullinan's wading depth is 540mm that is 54cm. And it comes with height adjusting system that could lower the car 40mm when leveling is needed.

Features

Cullinan shares the platform of Rolls Royce Phantom, build with full metal body,that is aluminium space-frame. The car can lower itself 40mm for better ingress. The self-leveling air suspensions serves as an epitome in every Rolls Royce models for creating the most comfortable ride feeling, Cullinan is also equipped with same technology. As an all wheel drive car, the suspensions of the car makes number of calculations within milliseconds for adjusting the suspension and providing respective power required for the four wheels. 

Company claims that Cullinan is the World's first 3-box SUV, that is the cargo is separated from the cabin. The rear seats can be folded down for extra cargo room. The standard boot-space is 560 ltrs and can be expanded to 1930 ltrs. In addition Cullinan offers two extra seats in the boot, which is built into it's floor and can be deployed electrically . 

Cullinan includes additional safety features like collision, cross-traffic and lane departure warning systems. Sure the car is loaded with technology stuffs that include Wi-Fi hotspot, pedestrian and wildlife alert, active cruise control, head-up display, touch screens on front and back.

Cullinan comes with lots of cool features and off-roading capability. Sure it does costs a lot, the estimated price of the all new Rolls Royce Cullinan is 5crores in Indian Rupees. I'm not sure that Indian market will get the new SUV in this year. As first SUV of the company, the Cullinan is initially focused on countries with higher demand for SUVs. But yes Indian car market has high demand for SUVs. Another cool feature Cullinan offers is that the spirit of Ecstasy can be customized, either a metal or glass built model can be made for the Cullinan.

Lamborghini Aventador Price and Specifications

Lamborghini launched one of it's flagship model Aventador on 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show. Ferruccio Lamborghini the Italian tractor manufacturer turned car manufacturer wanted his cars to be unique in design and performance, as wished Aventador is unique in it's design and performance. Aventador has a huge fan base by it's looks and yes the fan base goes increasing by it's performance. Aventador is a 2 door coupe model with engine mounted on the middle designed after it's predecessor Lamborghini Murcielago.

Design : 

Ferruccio Lamborghini wanted his cars to be unique, that one could easily identify a Lamborghini in a single site. Design is one of the keystone for Lamborghini cars , everyone who see's the car should get astonished not only the people who notice's the car, driver should also feel the same way, that's what Ferruccio wished. Aventador is successor of the fabulous Lamborghini Murcielago. the car has mid engine and with beautifully positioned vents in the hood and the vent in the door makes the car a way cooler. 

Aventador Editions and Specifications : 

Aventador is a 2 door coupe model produced in 5 main models Aventador coupe, Aventador SV, Aventador SV Roadster, Aventador S, Aventador S Roadster. Roadster is the roofless edition in Lamborghini Avnetador, SV stands for "SUPER VELOCE" which means 'SUPER FAST" in Italian.

Aventador Coupe :

Aventador coupe is the initially launched edition in 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The production of the car was planned to be limited to 4000 units, but it reached 5000 units in the year 2016. The car is powered with naturally aspirated V12 engine producing maximum power  690 bhp @ 8,250 rpm with maximum torque of 690 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. Aventador coupe is priced at $393,695. Aventador can do 0-60 mph in 2.9 secs. 

Aventador SV and SV Roadster :

Lamborghini launched the two new editions of Aventador, Aventador SV and Aventador SV Roadster in the year 2015 at the Geneva Auto Show. Aventador SV produces maximum power of 740 bhp @ 8,400 rpm by the naturally aspirated V12 engine and can produce maximum torque of 509 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. The Aventador SV Roadster coomprises of the same performance of Aventador SV. Aventador SV can do 0-60 mph in 2.8 secs.

Aventador S and Aventador S Roadster : 

The new edition in Aventador was revealed in the year 2016. Aventador S comprises of the same V12 engine with maximum power of 730 bhp @ 8,400 rpm with maximum torque of  690 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. 

Veneno and Centenario :

Both Veneno and Centenario are based on the Aventador's  body with upgraded looks and with changed both power and performance. Veneno was introduced in 2013 Geneva Motor Show. It has a 6.5L V12 engine producing a total of 740 bhp. Veneno is designed with main upgrade in exterior design with minimum changes in the power and performance of the Aventador and costs $4,500,000. It can do 0-60 mph in 2.8 sec.

Centenario was launched in the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The car cooprises of 6.5L V12 engine with maximum power of 759 bhp, which can do 0-60 in 2.8 sec.   

Ferrari 488 Price and Specifications

                       Ferrari the Italian automaker launched one of it's best productions car ever the Ferrari 488, in the year 2015. It is based on the previous model 458. 488 is the update to the 458 with highly noticeable changes in the exterior design and with changes in the performance.

                       Ferrari 488 is assembled in the Maranello, Italy unit. 488 is a 2 door sports car, which comes in two different models the 488 GTB and 488 Spyder. The GTB stands for Gran Turismo Berlinetta. The 488 is designed as a road car that could make near to track level.

                        Ferrari 488 is a Rear Wheel Drive car with a twin turbo V8 engine as under the hood. 488's heart produces a maximum power of 670 bhp  at 8000 rpm with maximum torque capacity of 760 Nm at 3000 rpm. 488 comes with 7 speed transmission with maximum displacement of  3.902cm3.

As mentioned previously 488 is update to the previous model 458, 488 has some changes in it's exterior design and yes 488 comes in two models. The 488 Spyder has the same performance and power that of 488 GTB. Spyder differs in costing the car with additional $30,000. 488 GTB costs $301,000 while the 488 Spyder costs about $334,000.

                  "Lamborghini", When everyone hears this name the first thought that hits their mind will be "a hot super car that drinks gasoline more than an junkie does". But, what if the manufacturer wants to make a change in this thought in everyone's mind, then definitely the alternative solution for the fuel would be choosing a "thunder",
                     Yes!!!!! Lamborghini has it's all new electric sports car named "terzo millennio".They are going to invent a super capacitor which is able to close the gap with conventional batteries in terms of energy density, preserving an outstanding density. Design : As we all know that Lamborghini produces super hot cars. The design of this future sports car is also stunning and has no change in Lamborghini's DNA in design and architecture. The materials used in the futuristic Terzo Millennio aims to reduce the weight and to increase the electric energy by storing structural electric composites as like a battery does. The car is built using carbon fiber.

Energy and Innovations : Terzo Millennio uses nanomaterial technology by diffusing nano-charges and by storing energy in the meantime. Another great innovation is that the Lamborghini team is to develop a self health monitoring system in Terzo Millennio. Which helps the car to monitor the damages that could happen after an accident and by limiting the risks and reducing the risks to point zero.

Powertrain : In an electric powertrain the method to feed the system just by using wires. Using this Lamborghini aims to feed the energy directly to the wheels and manage the power the system. Terzo Millennio faces a problem in increasing the power density of the in wheel electric motor to the Level of a 4WD sports car.
